The Hurricanes are a loud Mod Garage band, bringing the sound of ’66
to now! Fusing Power Pop, 60s Garage, Mod Revival and Boss
British Beat, these four gents have been around the block,
starting out playing covers as their forefathers did, inevitably
leading them on to writing, recording and performing their very
Since self-releasing their debut album ‘Let’s Go!’ in 2018, The
Hurricanes have since released the pounding single ‘Look Out! /
Shake It!’ (2019) and second album ‘Look Out! It’s The
Hurricanes’ (during the lockdown of 2020), and single ‘Keep On
Pushing…’ on Spinout Nuggets, all receiving much interest and
speaker bounce throughout.
The band have played on many stages throughout the land,
including the Purple Weekend in Spain in 2022.

the band themselves who are always keen to keep a firm DIY
ethic. With 11 tracks on the vinyl format, and an additional 3
tracks from the same sessions on the CD, these are the band’s
most consistently strong set of songs yet.
Don’t expect smooth polished studio efforts here; feedback
squeals, amp hums, drums pound and the edges of distortion are
all deliberate – this is the sound of The Hurricanes!
Limited to 500 copies on vinyl, this will be available via the label,
the group and all good record outlets, whilst stocks last.
