Ye Ascoyne d’Ascoynes were formed by Bob Collins and Ian Smith with Kevin Younger and Mark Aitken to play this brand of Pebbles & Nuggets US 60s garage punk. Eventually the band would develop to play predominantly Collins’ own songs and released a classic Billy Childish-produced 45 ‘Just the Biggest Thing’ in 1992.

These two songs, originally recorded by Florida’s We The People and Texans Leo & the Prophets, were never meant to see the light of day, but thanks to the forensic audio archaeologists at Spinout Nuggets they are rescued from the dark cave of obscurity where they have lain in silence for three decades.

The band never played outside of Kent or London and fizzled out somewhere around 1995.

Limited to 36 hand-numbered, lathe-cut copies.

The fourteenth release on the Spinout Nuggets label, this release will be available via www.spinoutproductions.com/shop/ only.
