Cream Soda are a trio of late teens hailing from the Medway Delta, offering Punk Rocked Power Pop, fused with 60s Freakbeat and Garage, as well as the late 80s indie stuff.
Respecting the past, with eyes firmly on the road ahead, they echo the classic Medway sound, respecting The Prisoners and Thee Milkshakes, whilst also incorporating more recent
influences, along with their very own sound.
The idea behind Cream Soda started in late October of 2023 when both the Toms, accompanied by one of Tom Page’s mates on bass, started playing original material in various garages after becoming acquainted through Music GCSE at Rainham Mark Grammar School, Medway. Due to creative disagreements, the bass player left and Jack – another one of Tom Page’s mates joined the band; a guitarist by trade but was happy to pick up the
four-stringed instrument.
Playing their first gig on 1st December 2023, Cream Soda have played throughout Kent, London and the South East since then, sometimes supporting The Masonics and The Len Price 3, and continue to make noise on stages wherever they can.
The group released a very short run lathe cut 7” (cut by ex-Thee Milkshakes’ Russ Wilkins) in December 2024, with only twenty copies; they naturally sold in a click. A four-track 7” EP, Make Up your Mind, soon followed, to much acclaim.
With the fire still burning very bright, they booked themselves back into Ranscombe Studios, and recorded a further ten tracks to battle up a full length album for release, with a little help from Zach Moon too.
‘Serving You…’ provides fifteen of Cream Soda’s best bits!
Limited to 300 copies on vinyl (also on CD and DL).
